Photographer Mad at Simpson Sisters

Wow. Photographer David LaChapelle has some pretty harsh words regarding the Simpson sisters according to the NY Daily News. LaChapelle allegedly claimed that Jessica and Ashlee are "everything that's wrong with music" and called them "reality-red-carpet, lip-synching television stars." What's behind all of the hate? Apparently Jessica and Ashlee were going to use LaChapelle for a Rolling Stone cover shoot, but differed with the photographer over how he wanted the two sisters to pose. Since the girls were uncomfortable, they walked out on him. LaChapelle is trying to get the last word in, though. He was recently heard saying that he onbly agreed to the shoot because of his relationship with Rolling Stone and that he was trying to "make the Simspons look cool" but he "realize(s) now that is an impossible task."

What do you all think? Are the Simpson sisters being difficult, or is this photographer just looking for a little exposure?

Is Nick Hooking Up with CaCee?

Is Jessica's soon-to-be-ex husband Nick Lachey hooking up with Jess's best friend? The National Ledger reports that Nick and CaCee Cobb were seen getting pretty close at Level 3 nightclub in LA on January 29. According to witnesses, Nick had his arms around CaCee and was "kissing her all over the side of her face and neck."

The article also reports that Jessica became furious upon hearing this news, but blames herself for "letting (Cacee) stay so friendly with Nick" and "basically (giving) her the keys to the bedroom door." What do you all think? Is Nick free to have a relationship with CaCee, or is she off-limits since she is Jessica's best friend? Where was Nick's current flame, the former Miss Kentucky? Jessica and Nick: Moving On?

Well, well, fellow bloggers, In Touch Weekly has not one, but two Jessica Simpson articles this week. The first concerns Nick Lachey hooking up with former Miss Kentucky, Lizzie Arnold. According to In Touch's source, the two have been together for "about a month" and have been seen at several night clubs, including Wilmer Valderrama's (That 70's Show) birthday bash.

And while it appears that Nick has moved on, according to the second In Touch article, Jessica wants to wait at least six months before starting to date again. However, rumors have it that she has caught the eye of former Lindsay Lohan beau, Adam Levine of Maroon 5. This has angered a jealous Lohan, who has accused Jessica of stealing her man. Is Lindsay starting up yet another feud? Do you all think that Jessica has really moved on and is just keeping quiet to win the "image war" with Nick, or is this just another unsubstantiated rumor?

Nick Lachey Launching Safe Chat Room for Teens

According to this article in People magazine, Nick Lachey is launching his own Internet chat and networking site for teens. Lachey was approached by a privacy lawyer named Parry Aftab who related to Nick that his name was "one of the more frequent names used by predators to lure kinds online." Nick says he was disturbed by this fact and helped work to develop a safe place for teens to network online.

Whether or not you blame Nick for his and Jessica's breakup, you have to admit that this is pretty cool of him to do. His new site will begin Thursday and can be found at www.yfly.com.

Jessica Simpson Sued Over Beauty Line

Jessica Simspon is being sued! A woman named Mara Fox claims that Jessica Simpson stole the trademarked formula for her Desert Beauty Deliciously Kissable Love Potion from Fox's own Love Potion. Fox has filed this multi-million dollar lawsuit against Jessica and her cosmetic line business partners, Sephora and D'Lish. Fox released her Love Potion in 1989, while Jessica released her beauty line in 2004.

So, is this another frivolous lawsuit against a celebrity to try to make money off of them, or does Mara Fox have a legitimate case against Jessica Simpson? What do you all think?

According to this article in The National Ledger, Jessica Simpson wants to start dating, but her father won't let her. Joe Simpson allegedly wants Jessica to wait so Nick Lachey ends up losing the image game by being seen with other women on his arm while Jessica supposedly mourns the break-up. George Lopez Apologizes to Jessica

According to People Magazine, George Lopez has apologized to Jessica Simpson for jokes he made at her and Nick Lachey's expense at the People's Choice Awards. Lopez sent Jessica a bouquet of flowers as a peace offering, and is quoted as saying "I didn't realize it was her first time out after (the divorce announcement)... and I felt a little bit like I may have ambushed her."

So, is George Lopez truly sorry, or is he just making up because of the negative public reaction to his insults? Where's his apology to Nick Lachey? Please comment with your opinion.

Nick Lachey to Drive Go-Kart for Charity

According to this article in the Detroit Free Press (scroll down), Nick Lachey will be participating in the fourth annual Cadillac Celebrity Go-Kart race at the Michigan State Fairgrounds on February 4th. Other celebs scheduled to be there include Jessica Alba, Jimmy Kimmel and Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Byron Leftwich.

The winner of the event will be able to donate $10,000 towards their favorite charity. Good luck, Nick, it sounds like a lot of fun!
